Pakistanis are dominating this year’s BPL. On first day it was Misbah, Amir, Jamshed and Yasir and today it is none other than the spin king himself. Saeed Ajmal who is representing the Chittagong Vikings delivered a hard blow when he took two wickets in one over against Sylhet Super Stars.
It was a fantastic over that had every variation one can expect from Ajmal. He bowled spin with flight. There were a few faster ones as well and at the end he picked up two rewards as well.
First was Munnaweera who went out caught at deep mid-wicket. Ajmal started his over slowly and almost got rid of Mominul with a faster one but he managed to glove it at the end and escaped with a LBW shout.

Munnaweera who edged Ajmal down to deep third man for a four a ball before went down the track on this ball. This time Ajmal was ready for him. He bowled it much straighter and as a result the ball didn’t hit the middle of the bat.
The bat turned in the hands of Munnaweera and resulted in giving a simple dolly to Mendis at deep midwicket. After Munnaweera it was back to Mominul again.
He defended first ball on the off side and on the next one found himself trapped in front of the stumps. Mominul made the same mistake again as he went for another reverse sweep. The ball had some pace behind it this time.
It went on to hit him on his front pad and he was a dead duck. The umpire didn’t take time to raise his finger and Ajmal was jumping high in celebrations. Great over from a great off spinner.
