Once again Muhammad Amir proved himself as the leading wicket taker in this year’s BPL. The left arm is getting swing as well which was not witnessed in the first two games. Amir has just finished his first over giving 5 runs and taking down Imrul Kayes.
As usual he danced the ball to his tunes and both Das and Kayes had absolutely no idea where the ball was heading out. Each time they thought of one and it proved out to be another. Amir is the best bowler so far in all the games played.
Das edged him for a lucky boundary to get some consolidation towards their poor batting form. However Kayes who was too curious in his approach finally edged Amir straight to Tamim at mid-on.

He had it coming. The way Kayes was playing Amir clearly showed that he was under pressure. The seam movement from Amir was huge with lot of pace behind it so it would have been difficult for any player under such circumstances.
Amir bowled some rippers and Das first was luck y to get away with them but not Kayes. He tried to steer the ball on the leg side, moved too early with his bat and body and resulted in giving a leading edge to Vikings captain Tamim.
It was as simple as it can get for Tamim and Amir celebrated his first scalp. He is in for a huge performance this year and watch out folks there will be plenty of action coming up each time Amir takes the ball in his hands.
