Dhaka Dynamites has Mustafizur Rahim in their team and their captain Sangakkara would have loved to bowl all 20 overs with him. Mustafizur is a class act. The young lad is confident and knows how to bowl under pressure.
In his latest game in BPL he bowled a magnificent over against the might of Marlon Samuels and dominated the proceedings with a wicket maiden over. He rattled the off stump of Samuels and left him completely bamboozled in the middle.
It was an over full of variations. Mustafizur bowled a few faster ones adding a few off cutters as well. Samuels looked tentative against him and this provided the advantage to the left arm pacer.
Mustafizur knew that Samuels will try something different to get to the other end and hence he kept the ball outside the off stump preparing him for a plan.

He bowled four back to back balls with the same line and length with off course variation in pace. The fifth ball was the one which Mustafizur pitched outside the leg stump and made it move on the off side.
It was an off cutter that moved like an off spin, passed the bat of Samuels and hit the top of his off stump. Samuels couldn’t believe it but the damage was done to him by the left hander. Mustafizur was excited to pick up his early wicket and so he should be.
It was a fantastic piece of fast bowling from the young man. He will surely be one of the highlights from this year’s BPL.
