Wickets Package, Pak VS Eng, 3rd Test

There it goes the Sharjah track deceived everyone out there. When Misbah laid his eyes on this track he thought it was dull enough to be another batting paradise. But during the play the pitch showed some serious tricks.

The ball was turning viciously on day 1 with extra bounce as a result Pakistan was packed up for 234 today by England.

Azhar Ali came in place of Shan and he too like Shan went without doing much. In fact it was nothing from him on score board. He edged an out swinger from Anderson back to Bairstow.

The second opener Muhammad Hafeez is clearly struggling with his form. Hafeez is not making some big runs and today again after getting a start he threw his wicket away.

Hafeez tried to pull Moeen down towards square leg for a bag one but the ball took some extra bounce and hit the top edge and fell into Broad’s hands.

Malik survived a close LBW case but still didn’t do much after that. He too perished in the same manner like Azhar Ali. An out swinger from Broad this time took the better of Malik.

Younis Khan remained unlucky. The veteran missed a low full toss from Anderson which was very much surprising. The ball hit his pad and it was plumb for the umpire.

Asad too fell to a beauty from Patel. Patel’s off spin turned and bounced a bit too much and Shafiq failed to counter it. The ball took the top edge and Bairstow really did well with his gloves on this one.

Sarfraz played well but then his attacking mode at the end was bit too much against the turning track in Sharjah. He was caught at mid-wicket.

Pakistan didn’t bat well. They realized early that the pitch was not suitable for batting yet they didn’t make a plan for it.
