Younis Khan gets a guard of honor by Pakistani players

Former captain and test giant Younis Khan has finally silenced all the rumors today when he announced his retirement from shorter version of the game. Younis is playing his last ODI against England at Abu Dhabi.

Earlier he was given a special guard of honor by his fellow players at the entrance to the ground. All the Pakistani players were lined in two rows and Younis walked between the two and after that all of them hugged him and shake hands with the might Khan.

Younis was in the news for quite some time now. He was not included in the ODI sides before this tour and he was not at all happy with the decision. He criticized the selection committee in hidden words.

Those who liked him in the media gave a full support and one after the other after every series he was dropped and the media built in the pressure more and more.

Now when he was selected in the ODI series against England, Younis will only play the first match and after that he will be all gone from the 50 overs format.

The team management paid a tribute to him inside the dressing room today. Younis Khan was calm and content as he walked down the ground and received his guard of honor. The players looked emotional as they knew what they were losing today.

Pakistan batting line will come under pressure after Younis is gone. He would have given a bit of stability to the middle order.
