Muhammad Amir is playing his first BPL match today and if we look into his performance well it was pretty much decent and up to the mark. He bowled well with the new ball in fact it was an excellent spell of sheer pace bowling.
Amir bowled 2 overs upfront with the new ball. Out of the 12 balls he bowled, 10 were dots and that shows how tight he was with his line and length. Amit bowled all length balls. There was only a few ones right near the batsmen and not much.
Amir seamed the ball beautifully. Simmons edged the ball high in the air because of this seam movement. The ball moved a bit on the off side and caught the edge.

Sarkar was a gifted wicket for Amir and it came on the very next ball. It was a fuller length ball and hit his pads but that line was missing the leg stump still the umpire gave that out and Amir got his second scalp.
The third over which he bowled at the end of the second innings was expensive and it was meant to be. Riders were hitting each ball and as a result a few edges and some good shots hit made Amir concede 17 in the third over.
In his last over he picked up 2 more wickets, Misbah and Perrera failed to do much about Amir. Excellent comeback from the left arm.
However as a whole it was a good tight performance from the left arm bowler. He was quick and looked fit as well. He bowled with a rapid pace and his line and length was up to the mark on international cricket.
