Amir takes two to stun Riders

There you go Muhammad Amir has done it again. This lad was impressive when he used to play international cricket 5 years ago and even today he has been energetic and profitable. Amir has picked up two wickets in his opening spell for Vikings today.

In the ongoing match between Chittagong Vikings and Rangpur Riders, Amir is playing for the Vikings. In his first two overs, the pacer from Pakistan has given away 5 runs only which is quite impressive and also bagged in 2 wickets as well.

Simmons was his first scalp who was in pressure facing Amir. The line and length from Amir was indeed a very tight one and as a result Simmons was not able to free his arms and when he tried to do so. He edged the ball high in the air at Mid-off.

Tamim Iqbal was at the position and took an easy catch. As the ball went in the air the two batsmen crossed and Sarkar came onto strike against Amir on the next delivery.

That was it for him as well. Sarkar was caught LBW by Amir on the next ball. It was a harsh decision but that is how cricket goes. Amir bowled a fuller length ball darting down the leg side. It hit the pad and Amir went for an LBW appeal.

The umpire also thought of it as out and raised his finger. Sarkar was upset over this decision and the replays also showed that the ball was missing the leg stump. Bad call from the umpire.
