Pakistan is back to square one here. Hafeez is gone and so is Sarfraz. The chances to score a big total have gone lone back now. The dreams to win this ODI are falling down as well. Pakistan is heading to the wrong direction here.
First Hafeez played a poor shot. It was disastrous from him. There was no way he could have let this happen to him yet he did play his shot. A cutter from Willey and Hafeez chipped it in the air at deep square leg for Root to take it with his both hands.
The wicket was good for batting and Hafeez was on 45 yet this kind of a shot from is a crime. A flick on the leg side was the original shot from Hafeez and at the end it was just a simple top edge down towards the leg side.

Coming to Sarfraz, he did even worse than Hafeez. He knew Hafeez was out and now he has to bat long but still he went down the line to hit Moeen Ali out of the park and was caught at long on.
There was no sense of responsibility shown here from Sarfraz. He is the vice-captain of this team and look out the way he played that shot.
Everything went wrong here. The set pair is back in the dugout and now only the players know what might be the total they want to build in for the Englishmen. All we know is that it should be a good one else Pakistan is out of this game for sure.
