When Hafeez comes to the crease, he never walks alone. Chances of a run out are always walking down with him inside the ground and in the past we have seen him getting run out or making others fall for one.
This time on the other hand the fault was with Azhar Ali. The Pakistan captain didn’t respond well to the initial call from Hafeez. There was always a single present there and Hafeez knew it but not Azhar Ali.
Azhar was watching the ball and not Hafeez who hit it from the middle, onto the left of Taylor at backward point and ran it straight. Azhar was late first in answering to the call and later he stopped in the middle.
There it was too much time wasted in the middle and when Azhar scampered his way to the batting end poor guy was not even in the big frame shown on TV sets.

He was miles out and Buttler had all the time in the world to dislodge the bails. Pakistan are two down and Hafeez couldn’t believe it nor did Azhar Ali.
There were no words exchanged as the pair knew whose fault was it. Azhar walks back and let Sarfraz comes in to take his pace.
Good move here by Pakistan, Sarfraz is in form and had scored a fifty in the last match. His runs here will matter a lot for his team to finish up well at the end of the first innings. Pakistan under the hammer at the moment.
