South Africa was in pressure after their defeat in the first test against Australia. The Aussies failed to surrender against the top standard pace bowling line up from South Africa. Second test was to be played in Port Elizabeth.
Dale Steyn wanted to make something bog out of the second test and his dream became a reality in the second innings. South Africa made a comeback in the second test and won the match with a huge margin of 200 plus runs.
For the Australians the second innings start was great as they were chasing a huge total over 400 but then in the afternoon session the ball started to reverse swing and that was the moment Steyn was waiting for.

He rattled through the Australian middle order and end up taking 4 wickets. Haddin was his victim in both innings and the one he received from Steyn in the second innings was a brutal of a ball.
Haddin before this let the hattrick ball go alone outside the off stump by Steyn. After getting a single in the next over the bells rung for Haddin, his middle stump went for a walk in Port Elizabeth.
The ball curved in centimeters for Steyn this time. It came out at a line outside the off stump and then started moving in and went through the gap left between Haddin’s bat and pad and knocked out the middle stump.
Steyn enjoyed this piece of beauty produced by him. he celebrated in his own style going down near the wickets.
